Undelivered Orders

If it has been more than 2 weeks since the advertised ship date for the book and you still have not received your book, please follow these steps to try to locate your book:

  1. Check our site for any updates on whether the release date has been pushed back.
  2. Check with your neighbors, friends or relatives to be sure that they did not pick up the package on your behalf.
  3. Contact your local post office to be certain that the order wasn’t delivered to your post office box or to be certain they aren’t holding it at their location.
  4. Track your package, which can be done by pulling up your shipment confirmation email sent at the time your book order shipped or by contacting us
  5. Contact us if you are still unable to locate your order. We understand that items can be lost in the mail or stolen from front porches. We will address your request on a case-by-case basis and we will do our best to ensure that you receive your book order in a timely fashion.

If you entered incorrect shipping information at the time you placed your order, Pediment Books is not responsible for tracking down your order once it has been delivered. Pediment Books is not responsible for reimbursing or resending a new order as a result of incorrect shipment information. You are given the opportunity to review your order at the time of purchase, at which point it is important to review your shipping information.

If you have moved since you placed your order, we suggest you contact your local post office to submit a change of address form. The post office will forward any packages if you have filled out a forward address form.

For UPS shipments, you will need your tracking number, which is sent to you via email at the time of shipment. You can intercept your package by visiting the UPS.com website information by clicking HERE.

Order Cancellations

If you would like to cancel your order, we will only be able to facilitate your request if the title you have ordered is in the pre-sale (pre-publication) phase. Because our fulfillment service is completely automated, your order is transmitted to our fulfillment network as soon as your order has been submitted for available titles. For titles that are in the pre-sale phase, the orders are not submitted to the fulfillment network until the book becomes available. This date is noted when you place your order and can be found on the product detail page for the title you ordered.

If you would like to cancel your order, please note that your order will incur a 7% processing fee. This means that you will receive the full purchase and shipping cost back on the credit card you used at the time of purchase, less the 7% processing fee.

If you are canceling your order as a result of a pedimentbooks.com error, your account will not incur the 7% processing fee.

To cancel your order, please contact us and we will work with you on canceling your order and crediting your account.
